Amy Light is an orthodontist turned fused glass artist based in Sedona, Arizona, whose vibrant, light-filled works celebrate color, nature, and joy. Working out of her home studio, Amy creates kiln-formed glass pieces that range from evocative landscapes to functional plates—but she is best known for her “suncatchers.”

 

These signature works—ethereal, dreamcatcher-like forms made entirely from fused glass—glow with layered color and texture, often evoking the beauty of an iris. Each one is a unique interplay of shape and hue, designed to capture and scatter sunlight in dazzling ways.
